The business

About this business

Archis is a fully developed, all-in-one legal practice management SaaS designed to help law firms, lawyers, and legal professionals streamline their daily operations through a centralized platform.

The platform brings together essential legal workflows, including case management, client relationship management (CRM), court hearing schedules, deadline tracking, task management, document storage, time tracking, invoicing, team collaboration, and administrative tools. It also includes ArchisAI, an AI-powered legal assistant designed to help users with law-related questions and legal information.

What it does

Archis replaces scattered spreadsheets, paperwork, manual tracking, and disconnected tools with one organized workspace. Law firms can manage their cases, clients, hearings, deadlines, documents, and daily operations without switching between multiple applications.

Who uses it

The platform is designed for:
- Law firms and legal practices.
- Independent lawyers and advocates.
- Legal consultants and professionals.
- Legal technology companies looking to expand their product offerings.
- Entrepreneurs interested in launching a legal SaaS business.

How it can make money

Archis is currently a pre-revenue product, with no established recurring subscription revenue. However, it has potential for a subscription-based business model.

A new owner could introduce monthly or annual subscription plans based on the number of users, firm size, available features, or storage requirements.

For example:
- 5 law firms paying $100/month = $500 MRR.
- 10 law firms paying $100/month = $1,000 MRR.
- 25 law firms paying $100/month = $2,500 MRR.

These are illustrative revenue scenarios, not existing earnings or guaranteed results.

Existing market validation and growth

Archis was initially introduced to the Nepali legal market, where 10 law firms used the platform and another 3 participated in trials. This provided exposure to real-world legal workflows and feedback from legal professionals.

The initial growth strategy involved introducing the software directly to law firms and allowing them to explore its functionality.

A new owner could grow the business through:
- Direct outreach to law firms and independent lawyers.
- Partnerships with legal professionals and legal organizations.
- Targeted advertising and digital marketing.
- Product demonstrations and free trials.
- Referral programs and annual subscription plans.

Customization and localization

One of the biggest advantages of acquiring Archis is that it does not have to remain limited to the Nepali legal market.

I am willing to work directly with the buyer to customize the platform according to their country's legal system, business requirements, and preferences.

This can include:
- Removing Nepal-specific functionality, such as Bikram Sambat date support.
- Integrating the buyer's country's Supreme Court cause-list system or equivalent court data sources, subject to availability and access.
- Configuring ArchisAI using relevant laws, regulations, legal documents, and resources from the buyer's country.
- Modifying existing workflows and features.
- Adjusting branding, terminology, and the overall product experience.

The goal is to deliver a version of Archis that feels purpose-built for the buyer's target market.

Technology and assets included

Archis is built using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, shadcn/ui, Supabase, PostgreSQL, and Vercel.

The acquisition includes:
- Complete SaaS application and source code.
- Existing frontend and backend implementation.
- Database architecture and application workflows.
- ArchisAI.
- Existing product features and UI components.
- Domain and branding assets.
- Technical handover and 7 days of post-sale support.

What the new owner would do next

The next owner can take over the existing application, select their target market, work with me on localization and customization, establish subscription pricing, and begin onboarding law firms.

Instead of spending months building a legal practice management platform from scratch, they can start with an existing, developed product and focus on customer acquisition, market positioning, and commercialization.

Asking Price: $3,500

Archis is an opportunity to acquire a complete legal technology foundation, with the additional advantage of working directly with its original developer to adapt it to your market and business needs.

Growth opportunities

Archis has strong international expansion potential, with opportunities to enter markets such as the US, UK, Australia, UAE, and Singapore through country-specific customization. Buyers can introduce subscription-based pricing, expand ArchisAI with localized legal knowledge, target small and medium-sized law firms, and explore white-label licensing and strategic partnerships.

Why the seller is selling

I initially built Archis to address operational challenges faced by law firms in Nepal. However, I encountered challenges with local market adoption, as many firms are still becoming familiar with digital legal management solutions, and the budgets of many local firms make it difficult to sustain the recurring infrastructure and maintenance costs through subscriptions.

Expanding into international markets also presents additional complications due to Nepal's regulatory, legal, and cross-border business requirements, making it difficult to operate and commercialize the product internationally from Nepal.

Rather than continuing to invest in a market where the economics and expansion opportunities are challenging, I've decided to sell Archis to someone who already has access to a more suitable market, can leverage its existing foundation, and has the resources or network to take it further.
