A free marketplace for buying and selling micro SaaS, apps, browser extensions and plugins. Sellers list free, pay 0% commission, and talk to buyers directly.
What Sell Micro SaaS is
Sell Micro SaaS is a listing and introduction site. Founders describe the product they want to sell, with its price, revenue and the reason for the sale. Buyers browse the listings and message a founder through the form on the listing page. From there, buyer and seller talk by email and agree the deal between themselves.
- Free for both sides. Listing, browsing and messaging cost nothing, and there's no commission on the sale.
- No accounts. You don't sign up or log in. Sellers fill in one form; buyers fill in one form per listing.
- Seller emails stay private. A seller's email address is never shown on the site. Buyer messages are forwarded to it by email.
- We never hold money. Payment goes from buyer to seller, ideally through an escrow service. We're not a party to the sale.
Who runs it
Sell Micro SaaS is built and run by Alston Antony, from Coimbatore, India.
Why I built it
I built Sell Micro SaaS to support founders who want to sell their micro SaaS without paying fees. Small software products are often too small for a broker, and many marketplaces charge to list or take a cut of the sale. Here, listing is free and there's no commission, so everything the buyer pays goes to the founder.
How listings are reviewed
Every listing is read by a person before it goes live, usually within two working days. We check that the listing is complete and makes sense, that the screenshots match the product, and that nothing in it breaks our terms. We approve it, ask the seller to fix something, or reject it.
Review is not verification. Revenue, MRR, traffic and other figures are reported by the seller, and we don't audit them. Before you buy, ask for a live screen share of the payment dashboard, read-only access to the accounts, and bank statements that match the payouts.
Anyone can report a listing with the "Report this listing" link on its page. We read every report and remove listings that are misleading, broken or not really for sale.
How the site pays for itself
It doesn't yet. Later we may add optional paid features, such as featured listings, which will always be labelled. Some guides may use affiliate links, which are marked and explained on the affiliate disclosure page. Listing and buying stay free with 0% commission. See pricing.
